About ANF
Atlanta Neuroscience Foundation was born out of an ongoing collaboration between Tanner Health System and the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Atlanta. This partnership began as an effort to bring neurological patient-centered care to rural Georgians through Tanner’s multiple medical centers. MSCA physicians brought their expertise to Tanner’s clinics, Tanner supported the Infusion Therapy Center at MSCA, and their personnel collaborated and partnered on key initiatives. Tanner Foundation, led by Brian Dill, and MSCA, led by Dr. Bill Stuart, saw an opportunity to enhance the reach of neurological care being offered by combining the strengths of their respective organizations.
With support from both organizations, Atlanta Neuroscience Foundation philanthropically supports and grows neurological programs, research projects, and quality-of-life patient care throughout Georgia, and beyond.
OUR FUNDING PRIORITIES
GROW OUR PATIENT SUPPORT FUND
A diagnosis such as MS or Parkinson's is life-changing and the financial burden can be devastating. A neurological patient can face staggering medical expenses. ANF's priority is that no patient is prevented from receiving appropriate care due to financial reasons. Help us grow our Patient Support Fund for patients to gain access to high-quality care.
UPDATE DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT
Access to the latest neuroscience technology saves lives. Funding new and expanded diagnostic equipment for clinics and outlying areas through donations and fundraising efforts is critical to meeting patient care needs. Utilizing cutting-edge neuroimaging allows for greater visualization of brain structures and identification of disease origin and lesions, providing faster and more precise diagnosis and a better patient-centered care experience.
REACH UNDER-SERVED COMMUNITIES
Over 50% of Georgians are unable to access the neurological care they need. Together, MSCA and Tanner are bringing healthcare to rural areas and eliminating the unnecessary burden of travel through telehealth. Research, education, and patient outcomes are the heart of our shared vision and by introducing telehealth through Tanner facilities using MSCA providers we can do more.
